Ah, the power of Photoshop.

Legit awesome.

dorsa:

A few months ago, my grandpa (Babaji) commissioned my sub-par Photoshop skills in order to clean up some family-heirloom-type-esque photographs from way back in the day. I, of course, obliged and had the chance to see photos of the people that are the reason I exist, although I’d never even heard of them before. Here are a few favorites:

(That’s my grandpa rockin’ the ‘stache!)

Babaji was so impressed by my “amazing” skills of fixing brightness and contrast that he extended his commission to include a family portrait of him, his parents, and his brother. So we went through the pictures and cut out figures and somehow made this little portrait of the family, at completely wrong ages & backgrounds haha:

Babaji then took fault with the background and requested something “nature-y”. I happily obliged:

My grandparents loved these little pictures so much that they actually went to Walgreen’s and printed them, meaning they are now framed and sitting on the mantle of their house in Iran haha. Definitely one of the funniest family experiences that I can recall :)
